During induction in Phase 2, you will be issued, free of charge, a pair of safety glasses.

Safety glassesThe purpose of the glasses is to protect your eyes during training. These glasses would normally be worn during activities such as battery testing, drilling or grinding.

These glasses are an item of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and you get one free issue of this equipment. If you mislay or loose these glasses, you must replace them at your own expense.

In the event that acitivity in the workshops requires additional eye protection (full-face mask, welding goggles etc., they will be supplied to you).

It is entirely your own responsibility to present yourself each day for training, fully equipped and dressed. Failure to do this can result in you being sent away to procure the necessary equipment.
